Dear Friend:

I recently announced my decision to run for the 108th Assembly District, a seat that our friend Ron Canestrari has decided to vacate after three decades of public service. My decision to leave the position as Mayor of the City of Cohoes was not a decision I have taken lightly as I truly love being Mayor and I am significantly proud of the accomplishments we have made over the past 13 years. We have taken a community from the brink of financial disaster and have restored it to sound financial health all the while reducing crime in our community and setting the course for the largest era of economic development in our community since the Industrial Revolution of the 1800’s.
